Controller
About The Position
EVIGENCE is a start-up company with best-in-class technology for freshness monitoring based in Yoqnaem. We provide data on freshness as never seen before, allowing optimal use of products. We’re seeking an experienced Controller, to join our team. The role reports directly to the SVP of Finance& Strategy.
As a Controller at Evigence, you will be responsible for leading the accounting and financial operations, play a key role in the financial planning and analysis of the business. You will be a strategic partner to the management team, developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's growth and be responsible for the overall financial management of the group.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
Ensure that all financial records are accurate, timely and in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Provide financial analysis and support for strategic and operational decision-making
Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting process.
Manage relationships with external audit, tax, legal advisors and banking partners in Israel and the US
Lead and develop a small team of accounting and finance professionals.
Take initiatives to support the commercial team with business models, cost analysis and pricing analysis.
Manage the data room for investors and create schedules, reports, presentations and stay on top of all the information provided.
Requirements
Certified Public Accountant.
Bachelor's degree in accounting from a leading institute.
Internship in one of the big 4. Experience with Hi-tech companies- must.
2-4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of US GAAP – Advantage.
Experience with Priority – advantage.
Great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Particular focus on the priorities that correspond with business needs.
Highest standards of accuracy and precision.
High proficiency in English - both written and verbal
