Chemistry\ Food R&D Engineer
About The Position

With our combined proprietary sensors and data analytics we monitor food's freshness in real time, at the item level, all the way from production to consumption, and provide unparalleled insights that help optimize freshness in supply chains, inventory and even in consumers' homes. We are seeking a passionate and skilled R&D Chemistry/Food Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team.
Areas of Responsibility:
· Engage in the development and preparation of polymeric formulations within the field of chemistry.
· Contribute to the development of new products and technologies in alignment with the company's roadmap.
· Conduct experiments in the R&D lab, including measurements and report writing.
· Lead processes from development to production, ensuring smooth transitions.
· Collaborate closely with the Quality Control (QC) team, providing them with critical technology insights
· Work closely with the Commercial team on new and existing customers.
Requirements
· 2-4 years of experience as an R&D Chemistry/Food Engineer.
· Bachelor's degree (BSc.) in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, food science, or another relevant scientific/technological field.
· MBA – an advantage.
· Proficiency in experimental design and statistical methods.
· Self-directed, creative, and effective in a flexible, multi-disciplinary team environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a broad technological background.
· A creative thinker with an agile mindset, both personally and professionally.
· Ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
· Excellent presentation skills with a proven track record of addressing diverse audiences.
· English – Mother tongue or equivalent language proficiency – a MUST.
· Experience in modern industrial printing – an advantage.
